I am a postdoc in Oliver Billker lab and my research focuses on how Plasmodium berghei infection alters mosquito hemolymph metabolites and I explore host-parasite interactions at the single-cell level.

The dynamic changes in hemolymph metabolite content will be monitored over time to identify essential metabolites for the parasite. Additionally, single-cell analysis of infected and non-infected cells, incorporating the parasite’s transcriptome, will provide deeper insights into host-parasite interactions.

I earned my PhD from the University of Bern, Switzerland, where I studied host-parasite interactions in Cryptosporidium parvum, identifying exported parasite proteins and analyzing the transcriptional response to infection in neonatal mice at the single-cell level.
