I am a Associate professor in the medical program and also a senior consultant (attending) physician at Sunderby Hospital where I work within Region Norrbotten with return visits for patients who have suffered a stroke or TIA. I teach and conduct research in the subject of geriatrics, but I am also the project coordinator for medical students who write their degree theses.

The research is focused on the good aging and I defended my thesis in 2015 with a focus on morale in very old people within the Umeå 85+/GERDA study. I also conduct research within the Silver-MONICA project.
