Jessica Lindberg

I am a medical doctor and PhD student conducting breast cancer research with a focus on discovering new biomarkers. My work explores the tumour microenvironment in pre-invasive, invasive, and metastatic breast cancer by studying proteins of the extracellular matrix, such as collagens. These proteins are known to both inhibit and promote tumour invasion, and my goal is to analyse their patterns to improve diagnostic and prognostic tools for breast cancer patients.
