The school plays an important role in shaping talents and future stars who will develop organizations across industries for many years to come. I have many years of experience in retail, especially in the grocery sector, and I hope to contribute with insights from that field.
– Retail as a whole is challenged by new buying behaviors and price pressure. One pressing issue right now is how to create or maintain an attractive employer brand in a tough economic climate.
– The most important thing is to gain an understanding of the bigger picture and how the business is interconnected through various flows in a business model. You don’t need to know everything or be a specialist when you graduate, but having a broad understanding and interest in the business is a valuable asset. It’s also crucial to understand that human interaction, both in the workplace and especially with customers is absolutely essential for a sustainable business.
