Dr. Joel Schwartz is Professor of Environmental Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Link to his website on Harvard
He has a long history of using statistical methods to clarify major health effects of environmental pollution. Among other things, he is known for studies of the impact of air pollutants on health, for data modelling in environmental epidemiology, and for data analyses during the 20th century that was instrumental for the ban of lead in gasoline.
