About the course

This course is about fluid mechanics principles and how they can be applied to study the different biofluid systems of the human body.
The course covers various analytical and numerical methods commonly applied in both clinical practice and medical research for understanding and evaluating different physiological functions related to these biofluid systems. The course includes the biofluid mechanics of systems such as the brain, heart,
as well as the micro- and macro-circulation.

The course includes two modules:

Module 1, theoretical work, 5 ECTS
Module 2, laboration, 2,5 ECTS
